Learning Objectives

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Better characterize symptomatic patients with small non-obstructing stones
  • Understand the role of ultrasound imaging in the ER patient presenting with renal colic and as apart of PCNL treatment
  • Understand eye safety concerns re: thulium laser fiber
  • Gain a better understanding regarding the impact of metabolic stone disease on bone heath
  • Consider/re-evaluate expansion of candidacy for same-day urological procedures
