Learning Objectives

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

• Review and assess the methodology required to create a clinical practice guideline
• Critically assess each guideline recommendation and to compare recommendations to current clinical practice in Canada
• Evaluate areas highlighted by the presenters as lacking high quality evidence and to consider how future research could advance clinical practice for the management of patients
