Dr. Blew is an assistant professor of urology at the University of Ottawa, and staff urologist at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus. He completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Toronto in 1998 and subsequent specialty training in urology at the University of Ottawa, becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003. A two-year research and clinical fellowship in endourology and minimally invasive surgery with Drs, John Honey and Kenneth Pace followed at St Michael’s hospital of the University of Toronto. His published and presented work includes research on minimally invasive prostate surgery, stone disease, physiology of minimally invasive surgery and medical device assessment. Dr. Blew’s ongoing clinical and research interests include endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery, renal transplantation, and minimally invasive cancer surgery.
