Dr. Chin is Professor of Urology and Oncology at the University of Western Ontario (UWO) in London Ontario, Canada. He graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School and completed his Urology Residency at UWO.  He received Fellowship training in Urologic Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in the United States and Transplantation Immunology at UWO.  His laboratory and clinical research interests are in prostate cancer management, including minimally invasive and alternative forms of management and advanced imaging techniques. Dr. Chin has published over 350 research papers and book chapters, and co-authored one book on Prostate Cancer. He has been an Editorial Board member on several of the highest impact international Urology journals. Dr. Chin was appointed to the Order of Ontario in 2013 and received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for contributions to the areas of innovation in prostate cancer treatment, public awareness and patient education. In 2014, Dr. Chin was made an honorary member of the Chinese Urological Association.  Dr. Chin is a Past President of the Canadian Urological Association and the American Urological Association Northeastern Section.
